Clear, seamless silicone tubing designed for use in clinical and laboratory settings and available in sizes corresponding with medical applications. SFM3 (SF Medical brand manufactured by Trelleborg Sealing Solutions) platinum-cured single lumen silicone tubing offers a high degree of purity and the lowest level of extractables. Translucent for visual monitoring, the SFM3 USP Class VI medical-grade tubing is biocompatible and inert.
Sterilizable by steam (30 psi at 253 F / 123 C), ETO and radiation, the SFM3 premium tubing resists fatigue with repeated flexion or stretching, and is odorless, tasteless, and non-toxic for use and re-use in medical, pharmaceutical, food and water applications. The SF Medical platinum cured tubing material meets or exceeds the standards set by the U.S. Pharmacopoeia National Formulary. Most sizes are sold in 50-foot lengths.
